Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 18, 2026 · Last Updated: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Polling Strategies ("Polling Strategies," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and processes information in connection with the website at pollingstrategies.ai (the "Site") and email correspondence with us. Polling Strategies is an opinion polling firm. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services you access outside the Site, and it does not govern survey research conducted under a separate client engagement, which is addressed in the applicable engagement agreement and respondent notices.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information we process when you visit the Site or contact us by email. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information. If you email us at hello@pollingstrategies.ai, we receive your email address, any information you choose to include, and the contents of your message.
- Usage and technical data. Our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps, and error reports) to deliver and secure the Site. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to profile visitors.
We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this Site, and we do not collect accounts, workspaces, or user-generated content through it.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- respond to your inquiries and correspondence;
- operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
- diagnose errors and monitor reliability; and
- comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights and safety of Polling Strategies and others.
We do not sell personal information.
4. AI processing
The Site itself does not send visitor information to AI systems. Where we use artificial intelligence or machine learning tools internally to support our polling and analysis work, we do so under our client engagements and applicable respondent notices, not through this Site. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, and we review them before relying on them.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not share information collected through the Site with third parties except with service providers strictly necessary to run the Site (for example, our website hosting and email providers), or when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
6. Cookies
This Site does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. Our hosting provider may set a minimal number of strictly necessary cookies required to deliver the Site securely (for example, load balancing or basic security). Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, so we do not display a cookie consent banner. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Retention
We retain email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our business records, and comply with legal obligations, and we delete it when no longer needed. Server logs are retained for a short period as described above. Residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the address in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. International transfers
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the current version on the Site and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law.
